Welcome To Reggie White Medical Enterprises
Our Diagnostic Sleep Centers are accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The majority of patients seen in the sleep centers are those suffering from sleep apnea, whose symptoms often include; loud snoring, pauses in breathing during sleep and excessive daytime sleepiness.
Patients can refer themselves to our board certified sleep physician; or they are referred to the sleep center by their primary care physician. The sleep center's physician/ nurse practitioner evaluates the patient's sleep history and if indicated, a sleep study is conducted.
Successfully treating sleep disorders often result in an enhanced quality of life with less fatigue after a better night's sleep. Decreased risk of heart disease, increased daytime functioning, improved social and family relationships are just some of the benefits of correcting sleep disorders.
Our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Centers are Medicare certified Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in our country and lung disease is the leading cause of disability. We address the needs of this patient population to increase their quality of life, health and safety.
Exercise, education and individual counseling are employed to help reduce risk and prevent further complications. Patients who participate are supervised by a physician, respiratory therapists and physical therapists especially skilled in the treatment and care management of patients with cardiac and pulmonary disease.
Individualized exercise sessions are based on patient goals, current fitness level and medical conditions. The goal is to develop a program the patient can safely perform at home improving self-reliance and enhancing individual activities of daily living. All patients must be referred by their physician to participate.
Our O2 Medical CPAP Clinics are accredited by Community Health and Program Services, or C.H.A.P and set the gold standard of Constant Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) treatment. Patients who follow their doctors' prescription for CPAP therapy enjoy significant health improvements and are at a lower risk for a fatal sleep apnea episode. Patients are urged to come to one of our monthly CPAP support groups and find out why O2 Medical's patient CPAP use is twice the National Average!
